I don't even care WHO you vote for, just that you do.
That said, I will link to this, which states better than I ever could why I am allowing myself to harbor even the tiniest smidgen of hope for our future as a nation. I thought the world had stomped out my idealism years ago, but that man (and my country's reaction to him) has single-handedly renewed it... And I'm happy to see its return. As Obama said, "There has never been anything false about hope." I am hoping it has reason to stick around.
(Just to be clear: I did not vote today, since I live in NC and our primary isn't for another hundred years. My mom and brother both cast their votes in DE, however, and my dad voted in WV... but not for Huckabee, thank goodness.)
