13-year-old Dane Jackson battles 15-foot Bus Eater wave, takes 3rd at Kayak World Championships

Fully three years younger than the next oldest competitor and nearly
half the size, Dane Jackson, earned a  bronze medal during Kayak
World Freestyle Kayak Championships May 2 - 4 in Ottawa Canada.

Fellow
USA Team member Evan Garcia took gold while canadian teen Thomas
"Deuce" Faruhn took silver. Dane's sister Emily, 17, won the world
title in juior women. Dane's father, legendary kayaker Eric "EJ"
Jackson, 43, won the men's division against nearly 70 of the best
predominantly 20-something kayakers from around the globe.
