The 19th Century St. Saviour's Church was destroyed by fire in London today. It was in the middle of a local park surrounding by housing.

The church built in 1864 was destroyed by fire Friday 25th May, 2007. It was located at Bartlett Park, Lansbury Estate, East London, UK.

Residents of the houses in Bartlett Close may have to spend a night in an hotel since the structure is still not safe. The Church is used the Celestial Church of Christ, a Nigerian foundation, and owned by the Church of England.
