If you've ever been to LAX, [Los Angeles airport] than you know how busy and crazy it can get. And if you're traveling this summer you should know that the security line-ups, crowds and wait times will even be busier, as they're expecting over 20 million travelers to pass through. That's a lot of people. I researched a list of the busiest airports in the world and this is what I came up with via Wikipedia:
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
- O'Hare International
- London Heathrow
- Tokyo International
- Los Angeles International
Los Angeles International Airport expects its busiest summer season since 2001, when it served 20.5 million travelers during what turned out to be a record summer travel period for the facility

As more people travel by air we will simply begin to use airports more frequently throughout the 24-hour day. Get ready for that 3AM departure but no traffic to fight!
