25 Year Old Found Hung in Newton, MS

Devastated, hurt and helpless. These are three words that may accurately describe the family of Sidney Robinson, a 25 year old black male found hung outside of a home in Newton, MS. No, this is not an excerpt from a 1955 newspaper. However, unfortunately, the parallels are absolutely astonishing.

News of the hanging did not reach local media until a week after occurrence. Afterwards, very little detail was given.
