An amazing convoy of 269 British Mini Cars drove 2 miles across Blackpool to break the Guinness World Record for the largest convoy of classic British cars.

The previous record was held by Vancouver Mini Club in 2004 which had 195 Mini cars togather. The cars had to complete a 2 mile route. This attempt was organised by a local Mini dealership Derek Woodman and all the cash raised was donated to Comic Relief.

This is brilliant. Your story is now on the home page for awhile, and everywhere else the “good stuff” box shows up. Many thanks for your great work.

In these dark days for the British Motor Trade` it is always great to read a bit of News with a Happy Ending Concerning anything even Slightly British, There are some Wonderful image`s included with this fine bit of Record Breaking news .. and the Story as a whole is very well Written and put together.

And to ADD even Better British Motor Trade News into the mix` We only recently got told that ASTON MARTIN has also been returned to British Ownership too, They say that good things come in three`s !!! ... I wonder What could be Next ?.

The Humble MINI ... Still the BEST little car in the Whole World ... even if BMW do Own it now.
