February 3, 2007 Indiana - Seymour Fire Department responded to two fires Friday. Firefighters were dispatched at 2:41 a.m. to 823 N. Broadway St. after a report of a resident smelling smoke. On arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from a roof vent on the east side of the house. The fire, which was in the attic, was quickly extinguished, according to a fire department news release.
