Three-Year Managed Security Services Agreement Provides Round-the-Clock Monitoring to Keep Wireless Network Humming

Verizon Business has been awarded a three-year contract to provide
managed security services (MSS) for 3's (Hutchison 3G Australia)
wireless network.


Verizon Business Security Solutions Powered by Cybertrust will
provide an on-site security specialist, 24-hour monitoring from the
Verizon Business Asia Pacific Security Operations Centre in Canberra,
and full integration into the Verizon Business Global MSS network.
Verizon Business will also provide round-the-clock monitoring and
management for 3's firewall devices and recently deployed intrusion
detection system (IDS).
