3% approval for congress

True the Bush administration has embarrassing ratings, but Congress is even worse. How come I've never seen this on one of the big three or any newspapers?

"Just 24% give the president favorable ratings of his performance in handling the war in Iraq, but confidence in Congress is significantly worse – only 3% give Congress positive marks for how it has handled the war."

I've been surprised by that too. Maybe one reason it isn't seen as newsworthy (although I think that it is) is because Congress _always_ has a very low approval rating -- just a guess though.

sbwolfe, this is good stuff. Like Brian, I wonder why these stats aren't considered newsworthy. I'd like to see comparison of approval ratings for the exective, judicial, and legislative branches of government.

Thanks for the good stuff flag... Maybe I'm finally getting the hang of this NowPublic thing

Very good stuff sbwolfe, why hasn't there been more news on congress' inability to accomplish even simple tasks
