I don't  know anything about this except what I've just received via the faculty list at Simon Fraser University. Sounds bad - does anyone know what is going on?

The following information was forwarded by TransLink at 10:11 this
morning:

SKYTRAIN
Medical emergency at Metrotown Station. Metrotown Station, Royal Oak,
and Patterson Stations are closed until further notice. Expo line
service is operating between Waterfront Station and Joyce station (both
directions) ... as well as from Edmonds Station to King George Station
(both directions). Millennium line service is operating both directions
between VCC /Clarke Station and Columbia Station only. Passengers
needing to go from one SkyTrain line to the other will need to transfer
at BROADWAY/COMMERCIAL or at COLUMBIA Station . A "bus bridge"
comprising of 9 Coast Mountain buses has been put into place linking
Edmonds, Royal Oak, Metrotown, Patterson, and Joyce Stations.
