50 Cent has bet his career on the sales of his next record. He says that if Kanye outsells his record -- both of them due out on Septmeber 11 -- then he will quit the business all together. That's bold.
50 Cent's last full-length solo album, "The Massacre," was the best-selling disc of 2005 and sold more than 1.14 million copies in its first week of release.

... I wouldn't bet against Kanye. His records (so far) show more growth and variance between them than 50's, in my opinion.

Somehow I don't believe he will turn in his platinum lifestyle, there will be quick disco dancing if this ever does in order for him to save face.
For instance, my fans don't want me to quit, my posse who hang out with me don't want me to quit, cuz freebies they gits is everythang
In the meantime publicity is everything. etc, etc.....
