I'd love to be down there but I'm up here in TO.  Ah well, I'm sure I can find a suitable substitute for the Green Chicago River.  Perhaps something that comes in a pint glass...

The St. Pat's celebration kicks off with the traditional dyeing of the Chicago River at its junction with Michigan Avenue (10:45 a.m.) and continues with this hugely popular parade. See floats, Irish step dancers, bands, clowns, Clydesdale horses and more. The parade steps off at Balbo Drive and proceeds north on Columbus Drive to Monroe Drive.
