Welcome results of a French poll conducted by the pollster CSA, at the behest of the Paix liturgique organisation: 65% of the respondants, asked whether there should be the option to hear Mass in either the traditional Latin form or the modern French form, answered yes.

Asked about attendance at the traditional Latin Mass, if it were permitted by the Church, 6% responded that they would attend regularly, 31% that they would attend from time to time, 29% answered that they would attend rarely, and 22% replied that they would never attend.  12% of respondants did not know whether they would or not.

CSA polled 1,007 persons, 55% of whom described themselves as Catholic: the results reflect the opinions of this 55%.  The sole regrettable aspect of this poll is that only 55% of random respondants in la fille-aînée de l'Eglise admitted themselves Catholic, alas.
