In what was the most exciting game in MLS this year, the NY Red Bulls won a dramatic game against teh Los Angeles Galaxy 5-4.  Juan Pablo Angel scored the game winner for  Red Bulls in front of teh largest MLS attendence thsi year. 


David beckham played a full 90 minutes for the first time in his MLS career and set up 3 of the Galaxy's 4 goals.


David beckham now travels to Englad to face germany in an international friendly that will serve as a warm up for England's drive to qualify for Euro 2008, on August 22nd.


Landon Donovan will travel with the US National team to face Sweden in Gotheborg in an international friendly, also on August 22nd.

New York Red Bulls versus Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday may be the most exciting game of the entire Major League Soccer season.  Over 65,000 tickets have already been sold and it is anticipated that another 10,000 may be sold by game time.  The large crowd, David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Jozy Altidore, and Juan Pablo Angels should provide enough excitement to sustain a ninety minute fever pitch. 


The crowd will be be the largest on hand all season and that will create teh kind of excitement that David Beckham thrives in.  After his magnificent goal, this Thursday in teh SuperLiga game against DC United, fans will be expecting more majic from the former England and current Galaxy captain. 


Landon Donovan, finding himself in the envious position of being on the receptive side of Beckhams passes, shoudl provide some great attacking chances for the LA team.  Donovan will want to prove that he is Americas best player prior to a national game against Sweden next week. 


Jozy Altidore, American best young player currently state-side, and second only to Freddy Adu, playing for Benfica in Portugal, will want to show he is up to the challenge of playing withteh big boys in a serious game.  His multiple goals and great showing in the recent U-21 World Cup held in Canada should provide him with the courage to allow him to showcase his talents on Saturday.


Juan Pablo Angel, is currently the best striker in MLS, and would liek nothing more than to upstage teh Beckham show in fron of 80,000 fans and an international audience counting in the millions.  He will play his best alongside playmaker Claudio Reyna, who is capable of making an upset a possibility.


Tune inon Saturday for teh game.  It is sure to be a classic.
