9/11 hijackers were stopped for traffic violations while out of immigration status

Section 287(g) allows cops on the beat to be trained in the investigation, arrest, and custody of illegal aliens, and gives them the same immigration authority as a federal agent. The only thing that stops this happening, is political activism and political lobbying.
