From Matthew Gifford:
Dave Winer has posted a teaser about Microsoft’s big RSS
announcement at Gnomedex. I assume Dean Hachamovitch will be making the announcement during his keynote. It begins at 10:30 AM PDT on Friday.
Here are a few key snippets from Winer's piece:
"On Friday you'll see how deeply integrated RSS is in the architecture
of the browser. But that's just the tip of what may turn out to be a
very big iceberg."
"I am pleased that Microsoft is working with the community, this is a
new model for them, and it's hard for big companies to turn this kind
of corner. I see that they're really trying, and I appreciate that, and
welcome them."

Microsoft will be making an announcement at Gnomedex
on Friday about how they will integrate RSS into their products. I've
been briefed and am under embargo until after their speech Friday
morning. But Dave Winer spilled the beans. And Robert Scoble
gives a few more hints that the announcement goes beyond just the
browser. I thought you'd like to know so that you can follow the story
-- the best way to do this is to watch the IE blog.
