Every day, the headlines scream with some new threat from the American Civil Liberties Union. I believe it's important to look behind the curtain and discover the origins of groups and organizations to better understand their activities.

This "Rant" is in response to the link in the comment below.
If a criminal had your Mother, Sister, Brother, Son or Daughter, and was going to kill them, and you had someone in front of you that was arrested for causing terror who, most likely, had information that would stop it, would you ask him "please MR. Terrorist, would you like to tell me where they are holding my family"? and here are some warm clothes and a fine meal for you....Oh I'm sorry, is our music too loud for you? Because, after all, we have to treat you better than our own servicemen.
I would think not! and if you say otherwise you are full of it!
What needs to be defined is what you and your other, fellow travelers, call torture!
Ask Saddam's victims and anyone in the middle east under Muslim rule that voices their own opinion, what torture is.
Oh and did you realize that since these terrorists are considered enemy combatants and NOT soldiers fighting under a countries flag, or in uniform, they never did or will have a chance to sign on to the Geneva Convention? and therefore are not afforded any rights under it? Not that they would honor it anyway.
Take your hatred for President Bush out of the picture and step back and realize what is going on all over the world involving extreme Muslims and war.
And what makes you think that if Muslims take over the world as they say they will, they will let you say "better Red than Red" Do you really think they will even allow you communists to voice your opinions? The ACLU will be the first to go.
