NP Rank:
African Dancers smile on Manchester
As I walked past Manchester Town Hall last Sunday, another very wet day, I was cheered to see these very energetic dancers giving a really good performance to a small audience. The rain was heavy at times but these barefoot and cheerful people warmed us all with their music and orchestrated dancing.
This was probably part of the Manchester International Festival, though their Press Office has not answered my e-mail questions and our Tourist Information Centre was unable to help with additional information.

joseph_mcgarraghy, great pics - learning to be cheerful in the rain while barefoot is an important trait in places like Manchester (and Vancouver, where I live!). You can post the video directly to the story the same way you post photos if you so wish. This is good stuff!
