Allen Iverson is the big news in the sports world today and until he is traded the NBA will be talking, talking.  Three teams seem to be left in the trade talks: Nuggets, T-Wolves, and the Clippers, with Boston on the sidelines.

The DugOut loves AI because he is small in height but proves night in and night out that it's not the size but how you use it.  And use it he does, the man cannot be stopped, as he makes six-seven giants look stupid and immobile.

The trade will be good for him, and the fans will get to see a new look AI before he gets older.  It sounds like he will end up in the Western division, which is not good for my Lakers, but the hope of a Kobe/AI championship run died long ago.

There's a reason that the trade talks for Iverson have dragged for a full week now, longer than the Sixers ever wanted. The thing is, everyone else doesn't just want to steal Iverson out of Philly; they expected to do so.

Mostly, front offices think they can get over on King.

And why wouldn't they? With his owner, Ed Snider, King has cast the Sixers in the most vulnerable of positions to peddle Iverson. By banishing him last Friday, they've done nothing but make teams reluctant to offer the best possible packages for Iverson. King wanted a bidding war for Iverson. So far, it hasn't been close.
