Air Guitar Kicks Ass

It uplifts your soul to know that there are people who play air guitar
in their bathroom, in their living room, in the privacy of any room in
their house, and then there are people who play air guitar to crowds of
thousands. Air Guitar Nation played at the 2006 American Film
Institute (AFI) Festival Monday night to a very enthusiastic crowd. The
film was hilarious, outrageous, and fun. The story journeys the
founders of the US Air Guitar Championship and what happens to the very
first American air guitarists to enter the world competition in
Finland. The director and those featured in the film were in attendance
and answered questions afterwards. It's full of surprises, and the wait
until its nationwide release, reportedly happening next year, will
definitely be worth it.
