Al Gore's Son BUSTED for DRUGS! Oooh....How Shocking

Al Gore's son, Al Gore III, 24, was arrested in the early morning of the 4th of July on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding 100 mph on the San Diego freeway. The officer immediately smelled marijuana and searched the car. Less than an ounce of marijuana was found along with Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall, which is used for attention deficit disorder. "He does not have a prescription for any of those drugs," Deputy Amormino said.

It is well known that people who do not have ADD crush Adderall and/or Ritalin into a powder and snort it for a long lasting "manic" high. It is popular with college kids who need to stay up late for studying, and it is socially used as a cocaine substitute called "kiddy candy". Gore was also was pulled over and arrested for pot possession in December 2003, while he was a student at Harvard University. He completed substance abuse counseling as part of a pretrial diversion program to settle those charges.

Michelle Says So, you've convinced me you've done the work - it's authentic. I also think that you've been fair and thorough. I didn't get the sense that you were hiding your biases, or passing off other's work as your own. Or worse -- getting paid by those you cover -- so it's transparent and independent. I also think you deserve praise for being an eyewitness, and for your investigative efforts. Good stuff.

Michelle Says So, I like this story. It's good stuff. I've heard about people using Adderall. It's not uncommon. They consider it in the same category as cocaine or methamphetamine!

The most important part of the article: he was pulled over for doing 100mph in a Prius. I had no idea those cars coild go over 80 without having the tires blow off. (kidding!)
