Attention: Mountaineering addicts, winter sports and other sportsmen!

Here's your chance. Free lots in a small community near the Denali National Park, with electric and phone lines already installed. All you have to do is build a residential home within two years.

Starting March 19, 2007, applications will be accepted, First-Come, First-Served.

The City of Anderson is selling up to twenty-six lots at no costs starting March 19, 2007 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be selected on a first come, first served bases.  A $500.00 refundable deposit will be required at the time of application. Applicant will be required to build a residential home within 2 years from date of signed agreement. 
Other covenants and restrictions apply. Lots are 1.3 acres in size, electrical and phone has been installed.  In April, the city council will hold a lot selection meeting for applicants to select their individual lots, based upon the first come, first served critieria.

Anderson, Alaska, is located in the Denali Borough, the Gateway to Denali National Park, with a population of 820, about 55 air miles, 76 driving miles, southwest of Fairbanks, six miles from the Clear Air Force Station.

SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!

We had 54 individuals standing in line through -20 degrees temperatures. Twenty six of these diehards have been selected to receive a lot based upon the first come, first served criteria. We received 44 applications in the mail as of Tuesday, March 20th.

We are no longer accepting applications. If we decide to do something like this in the future, it will be posted on our website and at that time new applications will be required.

We want to thank everyone for wanting to invest in our community.
