Karl Gotthardt - albertacowpoke's Channel

Retired Military Officer with 35 years service in the Canadian Armed Forces. Most of my time was spend in Infantry Battalions. Was also involved in training for Afghanistan as an Operator Analyst with the Canadian Maneouvre Training Centre. I am qualified military parachtuist and military freefall parachutist. I earned my U.S. Master Jump Wings in Fort Benning, Georgia.

I was also involved in sniper training for soldier of the Western area, recruit and leadership training.

In the 80s I was in charge of parachute training for the Canadian Forces, including pathfinder and mountain warfare training. While in Germany I ran the Canadian Brigade Ski School for two winters.

Have been involved with horses for 22 years and still own six. I did some breeding, training and of course riding.

Born in Germany and am fluent in both English and German and speak enough French to get in trouble. My passion as a young child and for a good part of my adult life was soccer. I played the game until age 42 and coached army soccer teams, one of which won the Pacific Region Championships.
