Althorp opens for free on Diana anniversary
EARL Spencer's Althorp House and grounds will open its doors for free on the tenth anniversary of the death of Princess Diana.
Earl's estate confirmed that it will mark the anniversary with a special free opening, although tickets will still have to be booked in advance.
The statement said: "Althorp House, Grounds and Exhibition, Diana: A Celebration will again be open to the public this Summer. Open dates are from Monday 2nd July every day until Sunday 2nd September from 11am to 5pm (last admission 4.00pm).Apart from the 31st August, normal admission charges will apply.
Tickets must be booked in advance (maximum of four tickets per household), by post, using the official application form which may be downloaded from their website
or requested by calling 01604 772108.
We regret that it will not be possible to accept group bookings for this day."
