Amanda Mueller is an independent journalist located in New Orleans, LA. She writes political commentary and reports on international news and human rights. She is a first-generation American, the only member of her family being born in the United States. As a child and adult she has traveled abroad to many countries, gaining an appreciation for other cultures and meeting many people along the way. She is currently working on a book about the Palestinian non-violence movements and life in Palestinian refugee camps.
