Youtube's traffic is through the roof but its content is 99% The World's Worst Home Videos and 1% SNL. What actually gets viewed is probably 99% SNL and 1% The World's Worst Home Videos. At the rate it's growing it could surpass the BBCs site traffic by the summer; certainly not comparable but it makes your rethink what "mainstream media" is these days. Maybe the BBC is Old Mainstream Meda and You Tube is New Mainstream Media. Who knows anymore.
