Wisam was a friend of an Alive in Baghdad correspondent, and now has been working primarily in the translation department of Alive in Baghdad.

Unfortunately, when an American operation destroyed Saleh Mutlaq's house just recently, Wisam, who lived nearby, found himself in the middle of the action. Here is his account, and a map he drew to explain the events as they happened.

It begins firstly from Salih’s Guards… those Guards were thinking that there is some militia were attacking them so they throw a grenade on the U.S. forces…all of what happened was a misunderstanding from both side…
