Amy Winhouse has issued a statement after canceling her second concert
in a week. The statement, which cites "exhaustion" as an explanation
for the cancellation, was released after the singer canceled her
appearance at T in The Park, a few days after failing to appear at the
Summer Pops event is Liverpool. The statement reads: "Amy Winehouse has
unfortunately had to cancel her appearance at T In The Park due to
exhaustion. Following a year nonstop of touring and promotion, Amy has
been advised by a doctor to take time off and rest. Amy would like to
apologize to fans for the cancellation." The latest postponement
follows widespread rumors that the singer had been seen drinking in a
London pub on the day of her Summer Pops gig, despite being unwell.
