This is a very interesting story, nsm2007. I went through to BMM site (through the archive.org feature and found the scroll bar.

People and organizations who are intensely serious about ethics are usually very self-critical and engage in a constant self-dialog about ethical dilemmas.

I totally agree - you cannot take the stance of promoting yourself as an "ethical company" then get collared for doing the complete opposite and act as though it never happened - even better put some spin on it by claiming that "Google apologised for their mistake".

It needs to be brought to the surface.
