Angelo D'Agostino, S.J.

Father Angelo D'Agostino, S.J., died on Monday at Nairobi in Kenya, after a long life of service to Holy Mother Church in the Society of Jesus, at the age of 80 years.  Father D'Agostino practiced psychiatry for many years in Washington, D.C., but had spent the last fifteen years of his life as medical director, administrator and fund-raiser for a home for infants and children with AIDS in Kenya, Nyumbani..  I met him only once, at a dinner party, and was impressed by his Christian joy.  He will be buried in Kenya.  Nyumbani's site is here.
