The Anglo American's Channel

Johnny {the anglo american} comes from the UK but has lived for over 15 years in the US mainly in the mid-west cities of St. Louis and Chicago. His love for the United States comes from listening the BBC radio's weekly broadcasts of Alistair Cook's "Letter from America" as a boy - the longest running journalist radio show of all time. His background is working mainly in television and film, having credits as a 1st Assistant Director and as a Location Manager. He is also a qaulified English teacher and holds a BA English degree from The University of London. Like many people after 9/11 he has taken the world more seriously. Fed up with the glass ceiling that his career keeps bumping into, he has decided to explore new paths while discovering unused talents that lurk unexplored within him.  He has contributed many letters to International Newspapers and took an early stand against the Iraq war when it was unpatriotic to do so in the US. He is about to embark on a course in journalism, but with the demise of the broadsheet newspaper, he has come to nowpublic as a blog rookie and is loving every minute of it. He is presently visiting the UK.
