Born with ink in my veins, I have been associated with some facet of the publishing industry since the age of 13. I was a medical/science/technical writer for many years, switched to news about ten years ago. Currently the Book Editor and a Contributing Writer for the Boerne Star and a freelance photo-journalist. I have an affinity for being in the right place at the wrong time and the wrong place at the right time. Member of the National Book Critics' Circle, Authors' Guild, Margaret Atwood Society and Modern Language Association. Avid conservationist, amateur chef, tree hugger and organic gardener.
