ANNA NICOLE SMITH SAGA KEEPS GETTING WEIRDER

Just as the media seemed to be adjusting to life without Anna Nicole Smith, the controversy rears its ugly head once again. This time, however, it has a twist so controversial that the lawyers have sprung into action and a flurry of “who's suing who” activity has begun. The whole story can be traced back to Britain's OK! Magazine initially planning to write a cover story on Anna Nicole's daughter Danielynn and her biological father Larry Birkhead. Instead of the tame interview OK! expected, they uncovered details that the magazine's editor called “shocking, revolting, disgusting.” Needless to say, those are three words that get top celebrity gossip blogs extremely excited.

The Bosh was among the first celebrity gossip blogs to talk about the latest development in Danielynngate. Initially, word of the legal threats emerged before the actual details. One of the Bosh's most recent posts stated that “Birkhead is already threatening to sue Rita Cosby, the former MSNBC journalist - the woman who actually introduced Larry to his former lawyer.”

The author of the OK! Magazine article reveals that a chapter from Cosby's book (titled Blond Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death) alleges Larry Birkhead and Anna Nicole's lawyer Howard K. Stern were “in cahoots from the beginning, agreeing to split executorship of Anna's estate and custody of the baby between themselves, to keep it in the family, as it were. All that stuff in the press about a bitter custody battle between the two was like poorly acted dinner theater, but the public bought into it.”

That, however, is only the tip of the iceberg. The author of the OK! Magazine article was informed by Rita Cosby about another chapter in her book alleging that Howard K Stern and Larry Birkhead had engaged in “homosexual activity” in order to please Anna Nicole Smith. Top Celebrity Gossip blog Perez Hilton offered some concrete details by stating “Jackie Hatten, described in the book as one of Anna Nicole’s closest friends, said Larry and Howard were engaged in oral sex.”

It would be easy to write this off as just speculation, but Perez Hilton was sure to mention that “the existence of the video was confirmed by a source yesterday, the New York Daily News reports...There’s proof????? Sweet Jesus!”

Another celebrity gossip blog, Celebitchy even went so far as to say that Birkhead and Stern were involved in an actual relationship. “Not only did they make a deal that Birkhead would care for the baby while Stern would continue to control Anna’s estate, they were gay lovers during Anna’s life and she knew about it.” The post mentions that this isn't the first time that the words “Birkhead” and “closet” are mentioned in the same sentence. “There have been rumors that Birkhead was gay or bi for some time. A guy told The National Enquirer back in April that he had a torrid two month affair with Birkhead in 2000.”

While some of the rumors could turn out to be incorrect (it wouldn't be the first time “a guy” and the “National Enquirer” were exposed as poor sources) Celebitchy is convinced that these latest developments could help shed more light on the life of Anna Nicole, “this book may bring renewed interest into the suspicious circumstances leading up to Anna’s untimely death. Stern...shouldn’t have gotten away so easily.”
