Another rape in Indianapolis...what's new?  Indianapolis' crime rate has soared and rapes are at the top of the list.  This is the latest rape that has been reported in Indy.  Mayor Bart Peterson doesn't seem to care...all he is interested in is MONEY, not people.  I wonder what he would do if this was HIS daughter?

Read my previous articles on Indianapolis' rape problem:

A woman reported being raped after a man grabbed her at a Northwestside bus stop Saturday, forced her into a car and took her to an apartment.

The woman told Indianapolis metropolitan police the man beat her with his fist when she screamed and tried to escape at the bus stop near 86th Street and Michigan Road (This area is a HUGE intersection...but no witnesses?) and also inside the car, which she described as a blue, older-model four-door sedan.

The woman said she lost consciousness from blows to her head, according to a police report, and awoke in an apartment. The man made her stay at his apartment overnight, the woman said. The woman escaped from the apartment through a window after she heard the man leave the apartment Sunday morning, she said.

She escaped, so she must know where he lives, and so, why is he not arrested?

AGREED.  The Indianapolis Star has a BIG PROBLEM with following up on stories or not giving all the full details.  I will report back if I see any follow ups.  If a woman can't wait at a bus stop anymore, what are we going to do?  "Pack heat" in our purses?  C'mon!

I carry a weapon (not a gun) on my keychain.  It can be seriously damaging or lethal, depending on how you use it.  Believe me, if someone tried to rape, hurt or abduct me, HE would go DOWN...not me.  I'm a "lover", but I can be quite a "fighter" if I have to.  If I died in the process that's fine...at least I wouldn't go out without a true, ugly and nasty fight.

"Homie don't play that!"
