Apple Trademarks Lowercase i
Everyone knows that "i" stands for Apple. Forget what you learned in school, and comercials about "Apple Jacks" notwithstanding.
In order to head off future lawsuits involving Apple's impending entrance into all aspects of Life the Universe and Everthing, the lowercase "i" has been registered as an official Apple Trademark. From now on, unlicensed use of the letter will be met with vigorous legal actions. Words normally spelled with the lowercase letter will now have to have to be spelled with the uppercase alternative to avoid trademark infringement (I.e. "big" will now have to be "bIg").
Apple claims the move was made neccesary to secure planned product releases of the iChair, iStove, and iPen in early 2008.
Sesame Street and the ACLU are expected to challenge the move in federal court.
