The armada included 2 aircraft carries. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The Gulf is a very narrow strip of water, and with so many military ships around, one wonders if they are here only for an exercise, show of force, or in preparation for a new war! With so many ships in such a narrow shallow strip of water… what if an accident happened!! Are we heading towards a new war in the area? Many people think so. The countries in the region are preparing for it. Kuwait has already established a crisis center, making emergency preparations regarding food and water storage, as well as medical supplies and oil. If war starts, and the Iranian nuclear plant at Bushehr is hit (which is very likely), Kuwait will be the first to suffer. Kuwait city is the closet to the Bushehr nuclear plant (less than 240 kilometres), and should there be a nuclear contamination, the waters of Kuwait will be contaminated. The drinking and everyday used water for Kuwait is distillation sea water from the gulf. For the article about the nine US ships entering the Gulf- msnbc
