The perfect end to a perfect Monday in New Orleans would've been the mass reconstruction of thousands of homes, the go-ahead given for hundreds of thousands of still-displaced citizens to come home, the vow to return by 95 percent of the businesses that closed up shop or left town and sprang up somewhere else after Katrina.

I watched this game last night and all you can say is energy, energy, energy! The fans had it, the city had it, (the Falcons did not have it but they were in a tough spot), and the players sure had it. I like what Spike Lee said as well during his interview with the Monday Night Crew. He is not going to let us forget that the people of New Orleans were forgotten and left behind. All around a good scene and a great way to keep up the word of mouth that rebuilding is a long process which is far from complete in New Orleans and the gulf area...
