Amanda Bell went to sleep early
Sunday with a worried friend in her Fort Bragg, N.C., home. She woke up
with guests she didn't know she had -- and the FBI and military
police knocking on the door looking for them.

"As soon as I opened the door it was like an army of ants,"
Bell said.

The authorities were looking for 5-month-old Madison Erickson,
taken at gunpoint from her adoptive family's Mississippi home
Saturday, and the baby's biological mother, Jamie Kiefer, whom they
accuse of kidnapping her. Arrested with Kiefer was her sister --
Bell's worried friend, Rikki Swann.

"I knew that Rikki was (in the home)," Bell said. "I had no
idea about the kidnapping."

Madison, a petite brunette who weighs 13 pounds, was not harmed
and is in the care of child welfare workers until her adoptive
parents retrieve her in North Carolina.Military police and FBI agents found the baby, 5-month-old Madison
Erickson, unharmed early Sunday in a home in Hammond Hills, a
neighborhood on Fort Bragg. Her biological mother, Jamie Kiefer, and
Kiefer’s sister, Rikki Swann, were found with her.
