Bali to host Asian Beach Games in October 2008

Denpasar (ANTARA News) - As many as 45 countries will send athletes to
compete in 13 sports branches in the Asian Beach Games to be staged in
Bali next October 18-26, 2008, an Indonesian sports official said.

"Therefore, we will build a park covering one hectare of land for the
games which will take place on October 18-26, 2008," Indonesian Sports
Committee (KONI) vice chairman for foreign relations, Indra
Kartasasmita, said here Tuesday.
