Violence erupted in many places across Bangladesh as the oppositions protest continued for resisting the appointment of a controversial interim government chief. The protesters had stabs and oars in their hand as prescribed by their party leaders and were put in use as their rage went on when they were attacked by police or the ruling coalition supporters. At least 12 people were dead and more than 2000 injured. Although the debated Justice Hasan refused to take oath under pressure, anxiety still looms as whether the next possible replacement is acceptable by all parties or there will be further violence. Dhaka will anxiously wait tomorrow to know what decision the President takes.
