BBQ in February: It's Just Crazy Enough to Work

When the organizers of Northern Voice told me that they were putting a Bar BQ on the first night of their conference I told them that they were certifiable.  Who in their right mind walks for half an hour to the middle of Stanley Park in February in Vancouver?   The odds of rain range between highly likely and absolute certainty.  But the sun god smiled upon us yesterday and served up a spectacular, beach side evening.  Nicely done Vancouver.  Here's to taking chances.
