Flowers are still blooming in parts of the Alps and temperatures have been warmer than usual in Siberia and Scandinavia. Is this a late start to winter or indication of global warming? Although a direct correlation hasn't been made between this season's warm winter and global warming, "years of mild temperatures fit predictions of global
warming, widely blamed on human use of fossil fuels."
