Beatles fans get rare glimpse into backstory

UK media site Wippit is going to be offering footage from interviews and news coverage from Beatlemania-era Britain. This is a very exciting thing for Beatles fans--the band's backstory is an incredible one, and the more info we can have about them from a cultural perspective--and the more there is gathered in one place--the better, I think.

Wippit's video clips includes the Fab Four at award shows, on the set of their film Help! and meeting dignitaries.

The footage comes from the ITN, Pathe and Reuters archives. Video downloads are on sale from 49p each or as bundles from £4.99.

They are available in the Windows Media Video format to fans around the world, excluding North America.
