This is an update to my previous story last week titled "Triad Godfather allowed in Canada".

Dou Foo Minh, a multi-kilogram cocaine dealer who for years supplied drugs to Calgary Asian gangs was murdered this month. Dou Foo Minh's funeral it has been reported by the media was well attended, with over a 100 "WELL KNOWN" Triad gangsters from as far away as China. The Big Police presence at this funeral will result in...?

Of course detractors will state "We allowed this to happen in order to gather Intel". Somehow I do not think the Police there will be invited to a "Friendly GabFest" and "Tater Tots" with these Triads, who I can assure Now Public Readers, will hash out the details over who will be the new Kingpin and other petty details to ensure it is "Business as usual"
in Canada.

Their Criminal Intel will be far more dangerous to the Public, than our (at a visual long distance) Police Intel gathering. We have given the Triad organization a perfect meeting place to discuss future business. The questions Now Public Readers may ask themselves is, with our Harper inspired "Crime Busting Government" touting their tough on crime format, which in part got them elected in the first place, makes a person wonder how the hell were "WELL KNOWN" Triad Gangsters allowed to cross our shores in the first place?

Was Canada Customs and Immigration on lunch break when these " WELL KNOWN" Gangsters allowed to walk through our Billions of dollars High Security Border Ports?

Somehow this begs the question, do we really want these same Customs and Immigration Border officers "Armed and Ineffective" in the mistaken and NOW proven belief it will prevent Terrorism?

Again, can we really blame the citizens of the United States for stating continually in the government and the media that Canada's lunacy and political "Nanny State" correctness results in Criminals and Terrorists the world over targeting Canada's incompetence as a favoured haven in which to strike at the United States.

Final Thought:
With events like this continually happening, would it surprise anyone if Bin Laden was one day discovered "Sipping Lattes" in Kitsalano?
