Biker Culture is subject of proposed TV series

Bikers in attendance at 24th annual Florence Prison Run may eventually be featured in a television series on motorcycle culture called "Rezoom Speed."

"It just shows the lifestyle of bikers and how free it is. They're rowdy guys but they're good guys. ... We're going to travel America doing this," said Gay Gilbert, a line producer for the program.

"It's not a movie. It's a series of different people across America that (bikers) encounter. And maybe a celebrity or two, we haven't gotten that far yet. It's the lifestyle, and it seems to be very popular in these times," Gilbert said Sunday afternoon across from Yolanda's Chuckwagon, as the bikers prepared to parade past the state prisons.
