November 5, 2006 Bird droppings may have caused a fire that partially destroyed Brisbane's 88m landmark tower, Stefan Sky Needle. The Sky Needle's owner, Queensland celebrity hairdresser Stefan Ackerie, said he had been told by investigators that droppings may have short circuited its electrical system.
