Blair Admits Iraq War 'Disaster'

LONDON — British Prime Minister Tony Blair admitted Friday, November
17, that the US-led war in Iraq had been a 'disaster'. "It has," Blair
said in an interview with Al-Jazeera television's new English language
channel when he was asked by veteran reporter Sir David Frost whether
the Western intervention had "so far been pretty much of a disaster",
