As of 2 p.m., snowfall totals ranged from about a foot in central Colorado Springs to 18 inches or more in Monument and at least 15 inches in Teller County, according to the National Weather Service. It is still falling at 1 to 3 inches an hour in Colorado Springs. The weather service said the snow was expected to start tapering off to flurries by mid-afternoon.
