Blog Translates Chinese Character Tattoos

 This guy Tian has a whole blog devoted to translating tattoos
that people have that use Chinese characters. It's awesome! Can't
decide if my favorite is the guy who has "Healthy, Woman, Roof" written
on his arm, or the guy who has "Skin, Hair, Body".

<q>Well, it is complete gibberish.



Ironically, the three characters do to some extent resemble 死枯石, “decaying stone/rock”. (Perhaps a little jab at the Rolling Stones?)



Since the term “rock on” is American/English slang, there is no
accurate translation for it in Chinese or Japanese.</q>
