Blogging Headed for the Slow Lane, Suggests Report

The blogging phenomenon may have peaked, suggests a report by Gartner
researchers, who note a slowdown in growth of the total number of blogs
on the Internet. However, the elimination of many spam blogs, or
"splogs," from the mix may reflect greater accuracy in documenting
blogs rather than a drop in enthusiasm.
